Have you ever noticed that no matter how hard you look for something, you really can’t find it until you say it out loud? Like “Where are my keys?”–then you look down, and they are right in front of you? It’s a weird thing I can’t really explain, but I have noticed it over and over.
So the last time I wrote, I was experiencing the “end of January blues.” It had been weeks since I had seen the sun or moon, except for just a moment or two, and I was feeling the loss of the sun. Well, as per my usual, I said it out loud and then I found it! The sun showed up in a beautiful way on February 1st, and even through that was several days ago, I wanted to share the pictures and give glory to our wonderful Father in heaven for his beautiful work.
It started early in the morning, when I noticed that the moon was visible. I’ll show all three moon pictures I took that morning, because I want to show how it “vacillates.” That is the official term, but I call it “flipping.” To “vacillate” is to “waver,” and the implication is that the movement is minor. Well, judge for yourself. I am struggling to figure out how such a massive object could rotate so far in a little more than three hours. (And why?) The camera was perfectly parallel with the ground when each of the following was taken.

The one at 8:05 is blurry; sorry, but it does show the tilt. You can see it better if you take a pencil and line up the top and bottom with it and notice the degree of tilt. In total, it looks like about 45 degrees of movement to me. I wish I understood what was happening! If you do, kindly comment, or let me know at thefullersfour@protonmail.com. Thanks in advance!
After the moon began to fade, the real show began.

This is looking south. That’s the moon top right.

I can’t help but be thrilled with the amazing beauty that appeared, all in one day! King David said of the Lord, “Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice (or “sing,”) “ Psalm 65:8b And my heart sings along!
