Twelve days may not seem like much, but it reminds me of the dark days of winter, waiting for the sun. And I need the light. We all do.
So I rose before dawn, saw my love off, and contemplated. Then something said “Go,” and I went.

Happy Forth of July, America!
And then it was dark, and we all enjoyed the fireworks, followed by an encore appearance of an old friend, all dressed up in orange for the occasion.
Strange Sunrise
God wants us to rejoice!
Even when all looks dark, or foggy, or hazy, He wants us to remember that He is in control, and He loves us with an everlasting love.

While You Were Sleeping
He came back in with a smile. “It’s a special night, Mom.” He didn’t have to say anything else. I grabbed the camera and ran outside in my bare feet.

The little one looked up, and Beau fancied she smiled at him. Maybe she did!
Strange Sheep
So while driving, I found this strange group of independent sheep. They showed zero curiosity when I stopped the car, and only one lifted it’s head for a moment. The really weird thing was that they all stayed an equal distance from each other, ignoring me and each other, while completely filling the pasture.
The Farmer’s Market has begun, and. . . We’re Off!
It’s hard to believe that it’s summer already, but June is here, and the Reading Farmer’s Market has begun. This year’s hours are on Tuesday only, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Michigan Pavilion in Reading, MI.
