Leap Day, 2024!

Spring is a good name for this season of emergence from winter, because it behaves a little bit like a spring, doesn’t it? The temperature goes way up, hovers for a moment, then dives to an extreme low. The clouds come, then the next thing you know, it’s clear! Perfect time for ice cream! (We’ll use any excuse!)

The trick is to not look too far ahead, once you’ve made your decision to do something. I ask myself, “Can I fill and empty one more bucketful?” And of course, the answer is yes. And after that, if it still needs one more, I can do that, too.
