We are a family of artists and craftspeople, dedicated to following the Lord Jesus Christ. This blog is written mostly by me (Carolyn Fuller), the wife of Jim Fuller. Tony and Beau are our sons, and we all live and work together in southern Michigan, pursuing our various and intertwined arts and crafts with the passion God has given us!

Jim is our Manager, Motivator and Chief Encourager, and enjoys listening to classical music or jazz while turning wood into bowls or rolling pins or containers of some kind. He is fascinated by the way God defends us, provides for us, and lovingly shepherds us into His will. He currently works in Logistics.
I am a writer and an artist, and love growing flowers and recording beautiful moments in the appropriate way. I also enjoy domestic skills like building things (like a treehouse or a window seat), sewing, and making food. I write some of the stories Tony records, and provide some of the plots/dialogue for Beau’s comics. I also write my own stories and create the odd illustration or two.
Tony is a skilled audiobook reader, with many credits to his name. He is also a “self-taught” herbalist, which means he reads whatever he can get his hands on, and then experiments. He spends most of his “spare” time either reading (in the winter) or in the middle of the woods somewhere (any other time), searching for stuff. Our adventures with Tony include flower jellies, pepper pills, homemade fizzy drinks, and various syrups. We have made viable ink from walnut and pokeweed, and discovered that while stinging nettle really does sting, dock leaf really does relieve the pain in moments. Tony loves to experiment with soups and sauces and bakes a lot of bread and pizza. If you follow the trail of dried herbs, you might find him buried under twigs, reading Charles Dickens. (Or he might be rescuing a bug.) He continually searches for the fingerprints of God, and writes about it.

Beau is a naturally-born comic artist. As a youngster, he was influenced by Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man, and delved into the work of famous comics from the past like Gary Larson (The Far Side) and Charles Schultz (Charlie Brown.) He began drawing at age 5, and has never stopped. He is inspired by his surroundings, and has a way of bringing sunshine into the darkest situations. He makes a mean brownie, and invents new cookies when the mood strikes him. He enjoys dressing in costume (if it includes a sword), and somehow coaxes the miracle camera to produce excellent photographs. Beau’s published creation is named Dr. Daniel D. Dumb, who is an effervescent expert in (something), and a restless inventor of human-like robots.
