Teach us to number our days
I have cared for you since you were born. Yes, I carried you before you were born. I will be your God throughout your lifetime–until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. I will carry you along and save you. Isaiah 45:3-4
He Holds Us Into Being!
Why on earth are we so self-critical?
On Being Connected
A leaf that is still connected to the tree may be blown like crazy all day long, but for the most part, it remains whole, flooded by healing nutrients from the tree. Being blown, or bitten (within reason), or even crushed doesn’t destroy a leaf until after it has let go of the tree.
Walk In The Light
Each disobedience makes it harder to hear God’s voice until eventually we don’t even know how to obey anymore. I know what it’s like to walk apart from God, and I hate it.
Run toward the Dawn
The natural world alone can’t sustain this; it is only the Spirit of the Lord that brings this kind of joy.
