Back to Basics: Being Filled With The Spirit

Sometimes it is such a relief to step out of the craziness and get back to basics. We were reminded of that this past weekend.

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away your stony heart, and give you a heart of flesh.”

That urge to do good is a leading from the Holy Spirit! When you care for others, you may actually be entertaining angles unawares.

Giving thanks is an act of your and my will, and with practice, it can become a state of mind.

No one loves as deeply as a child.

God has been so kind to us, and He wants me to be obedient. I am nervous, but determined to obey.

Unity. Oneness. Working as one, and for the same end.

But as I worked to repair 1776, the symbolic nature of what had just happened became apparent.

I love old wood, and old wood carvings. There is no substitute for the “look” of the passage of time.

So after 24 hours of her being missing, I got concerned. Little kittens have to eat regularly or they will starve.
