I just can’t seem to get my love for the sunrise out of my system–and I’m so glad! This morning, I felt the Lord wake me up before dawn. I kept hearing the words, “Faithful and True, Faithful and True.”
I checked the moon, and it was there, almost as full as last night.

Can you see the “Man in the Moon” gazing upward?

Tony got up with me and we did the chores quickly, and went off in search of sunrise!

But the moon was still there, on the other side of the sky!

It wasn’t a surprise to see the moon there; it happens once a month. (Faithful and true) God commanded, and so they continue to obey. But I never get tired of the thrill of seeing both of these beautiful objects in the sky at the same time!
(You can see it, too! On the morning after a full moon, the moon lingers in the western sky, above the horizon, directly opposite the rising sun. But get up early for a good view! The moon fades as the sun’s light increases, until it almost disappears against the blue sky, fading and setting while the sun rises.)

It was so bright, that a direct picture blurred out in a blaze of glory. So I contented myself by letting it “back-light” objects on the horizon.

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew but He, Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called the Word of God.” (Revelations 19:11-13) (Sections bolded for emphasis by me.)
